10 novels
have another author in blog I discovered today a list. I like lists. In said it was about "the ten novels in my life" or something like that. A list that I could set up not because they would be moving forward. But I went along to my bookshelves and have picked out ten novels, which are important to me as a writer and reader and it will always be:
ten novels, which are important to me and why:
first Ernest Hemingway: The Garden of Eden
... partly because of the dialogue, say nothing and mean everything.
second James Salter: Light Years
... among other things because of the precision of language and love of detail.
third Virginia Woolf: The Waves
... among other things because of the intertwined narrative voices udn depth of feeling.
4th Keneth Grahame: The Wind in the Willows
... among other things because of the feeling of security that I can still sing when I think of Mole and Water Rat.
5th Friedrich Glauser: Gourrama
... among other things because of the shutdown, the heat and the ordinariness of madness.
6. Hlde playing flute and drums
... partly because of the simplicity of storytelling.
7th Beat Sterchi: Blosch
... among other things due to human size, which is to understand an animal eighth
. Astrid Lindgren: Ronja
... among other things, about everything.
9th Cesare Pavese: On the beach
... among other things because of the feeling of drifting.
10th Stanislaw Lem: Star Diaries
unleashed ... partly because of his imagination.
