II Landscape Conservation Commission rejects paving of the bike trail from the Prader Sand - The Prader municipality extends on the other hand an appeal
an irreversible negative interference in the sand, the Prader II Landscape Conservation Commission at its meeting on 4 May 2010 was rejected. It was the request of the district community Vinschgau for asphalting of 1,250 m long and 3 m wide sections of the bike trail through the Prader Sand negatively. The Commission has the project from the scenic viewpoint is considered as unacceptable. "An asphalt path would affect the local landscape and strongly perceived as a foreign body. The proposed transaction is contrary to the objective nature concept.
